This is normal in BD. People that should not have to do anything with cricket making decisions. Everyone and their mother in BD said this was a possibility.

Now I understand why Bangladesh has never been able to win anything.

This is a circus nothing else. The captaincy probably should be taken away from him imo.

Frankly I think sheikh hasina should just be the teams cheerleader during the WC. Every player will give 200 percent for her.

Mofo tamim better score couple of 100 with atleast 130 strike rate this wc after this drama. But he should lose his captaincy. How is he gonna inspire his men after this? I don't know man, current team/management do not look organized. This is our best chance to go past semis ...but this f#@^#% instead of practicing, calling for press briefing ...

Who the f cleared this hathuri guy to come back. There were lot of drama during his first appointment also.

It was a depleted Afghanistan side too to add insult to injury

I think Shakib was considered to captain BD in World Cup.

At any rate, I love Tamim but in my opinion these are the best batsmen now:

1. Mushfiqur - natural, class, master, still got the touch and his shot selection got so much better that sometimes he reminds me of BD's ABD... if I must. Rare his scoop doesn't come off but I love his playing style and approach

2. Litton Das- Probably the best batsman now

3. Shanto -consistent performer

True, boss should be Shakib going into the WC. Tamim should just concentrate on his batting now. We need a Tamim scoring runs top of the order - no one better will come up in this short time frame. We all know coach is trying hard for Sharkar ... No to this!!!

Tamim, Riyad, these guys are completely outdated players. Look at the way Gurbaz is playing.

All these shenanigans and drama is why we will always be the laughing stock of cricketing world. Watch Afghanistan leap frog us and make Semi Finals first.

It's clear Tamim and Hathu don't want to work with each other and the board is backing the coach. Now they are just forced to put up with each other I guess. Must be great for the team /sarcasm

To be fair to BCB, it's not like they are not giving youngsters a try. Likes of Yasir, Naim, and co were drafted into the team to replace those senior players. These idiots are doing worst than our outdated seniors so who is your choice to replace these seniors? No one - hence we will be stuck with them and these 4 guys will be the reason if we win a match here and there - maybe some youngsters will contribute but it's always these 4 guys who contributed in some way or not for our wins.

After 2 days of drama, some of the national dailies have gone quiet on the subject.

Seems like Tamim was not the only influenced by the "Madam" .
