Pakistan beat India -> Loses to Zimbabwe
Bangladesh beat Nederlands -> Lose to South Africa
India beat Pakistan -> Loses to South Africa
Zimbabwe beat Pakistan -> Loses to Bangladesh
So it is obvious, since India lost the previous game and Bangladesh won, this time India will win and Bangladesh will lose.

^^actually, Pakistan lost to India, and then to Zimbabwe. If they can have back to back defeats (first to a strong team, and then to a weak team), why can't India?!
He brings up a good point. I hope our players don't have any addiciton problem be it nicotine, coffee, alcohol, sugary drinks and energy drinks and obviously no drugs. Best to keep the blood sugar steady than fluctuate.
I know Virat Kohli eliminiated sugar from his diet. What a GOAT and the sacrifice he will do!!

Other than that, solid rationale for including Shoriful in the starting XI.
That's not a tailor made pants for sure. His whole outfit is all mismatched. Lol but weird observation now I can't unseen it.
Shanto(don't know why I am picking him, he scored the rest of the runs for the year in zim match. I see him scoring 3 of 6 in India match)
Liton
Shakib
Afif
Mosaddek
Nurul
Shariful
Ebadot
Taskin
Fizz
Hasan mahmud
Our batters won't score more than 140-150, no point stacking the team with batsman rather go with pacers and hope 2 of them come good

If it's a rain curtailed match, it would make sense to go with five pacers. For a full length match, may not be a good idea to go with less than 7 batters.

Against India we realistically have 3 batsman afif liton and shakib..rest are dudvats who combined will produce 30 odd runs in 40 balls

Na man. He is being smart and humble and tapering down expectations. It's a good move to reduce pressure. But didn't work against South Africa.
We just need one batsman to go crazy that's all....striking at 200+ ... sarker Liton or afif for 10 overs. Only way u gonna achieve that is not put zero pressure on them. It's not completely impossible.
Lol, I hope something got lost in the translation because what an absurd statement to make in public. If BD make it to the semis off a miracle, are they going to forfeit?

It's all part of a cunning plan to put all the pressure on India so that they buckle under the weight of expectations.

Nothing lost in translation. Watch the full interview from 15:23 mark.
Sound bytes and cherry-picked quotes (especially from a site like cricinfo which will always somehow find a way to fault us doesn't do justice). If Shakib was confident, fans will say we are being overconfident. If Shakib downplays, fans will say we are not being confident. So what do people want him to do?

In the U/19 2006 WC, we were a juggernaut, won all the matches against England in pre-WC. Before the QF, England captain Moin Ali said something in the line "Our chance of winning against Bangladesh is slim, but we may have a chance if Bangladesh makes the mistake of undermining us", and you know the rest of the story. Perhaps Shakib using the tactics to make India complacent? Rahul Dravid said he's not falling for it...
Whatever Shakib did, he has one success - ran Papon out of Australia. Papon told journos that he would ask Sujon to add another bowler to the XI. Rumor is that Shakib-Sriram made a unified stance and refused outside intervention. Papon had plan to travel to Adelaide with the team, but now he has returned to Dhaka.
