My review on Round of 16 (Matches 5 to 8)
5. Holland vs Mexico - This should be very exciting. Two different type of styles clashing. Offense vs Defense. At the end end it could be penaly kicks. Go Mehico!!
6. Costa Rica vs Greece - The new found game Costa Rica is showing... they would blow out Greece.
7. Argentina vs Swiss - Two good teams. Argentina has the edge with Messi. Don't let him go left outside the box. I would like Argentina to qualify (So USA can take them out).
8. Belgium vs USA - Last of the 8 games. This team do not have Enzo Shifo. USA moving on.

Go ahead and underestimate our Azteca brothers at your own peril. I see an upset here. Defensively solid in front of one of the two best keepers in the tournament, they're more than capable of disrupting the Orange Machine and advance. I think their team defense is strong enough to handle both Robben and Van Persie.

Los Ticos are a strong side playing wonderfully attractive and poised soccer, and I don't see them having a particularly hard time beating Greece. The Greeks don't have the quality to stop someone the class of Campbell and must once again rely on the combination of luck and embellishment to advance into the quarterfinals. They won't.

As Messi-dependent as Argentina have been, they can still handle Switzerland without too much difficulty in the end. Messi is the greatest offensive player of this century and simply cannot be contained by a nation known to produce cheese with too many holes.

This is probably the best Belgian side in history. Other than Enzo Scifo in their past, I don't recall them having so many quality players. Hazard, Fellaini and Lukaku are fine players and Kompany is one of the best defenders in the world. But the USA, especially with the return of Jozy Altidore, the threat of Julian Green on the bench, and the stellar play of Howard, Gonzalez, Beasley, Jones and Dempsey have what it takes to beat them. Go USA!

My fantasy scenario:-

1. Quarterfinals: Mexico-Costa Rica; Argentina-USA
2. Semifinal: USA-Costa Rica
3. Final: USA

Tied 0-0 at the half. Mexico did as well as at least some of us expected them to do, but those finishing issues are still there after all these years. Layun's the best example of that, but Dos Santos forced a really good save. So there's hope. Simply wonderful poise and skill from Marquez, Salcido, Guardado and Herrera, all true Aztec warriors. The way Marquez rectified his only error of the game was admirable. Vamos Aztecas!
