haha Australia???
come on dont stretch that much with your love for Australia.
Australia did good but not there yet. Australia can be ranked above Ukraine but not above Cote DIvore or S Korea. So they should be there before Australia and definitely Nederlands and Mexico too. Next time Russia is coming with Hiddink and would like to see where Australia stands.
I find similarity between Australia and US.

May be, may not be. But according to my book Aus is a top 8 team in this WC. I m not an aussie and not an aussi fan. My top 8 are the previous winners minus england, Australia, Spain and Ivory Coast.

Since group G winner was kicked out by group H runner up, so group G runner up kicked out group H winner.

Those who watched the match, what did you think about the way Henry DIVED to get that freekick (which got them the second goal)? Is it just me or are guys now a days have less ethics ten before ? I've seen South Americans and Mexicans diving to get freekicks forever, this time I was alamred by the number of dives taken by Europeans. Saw several in the Holland v Portugal game and on the French game, Henry actually pushed his defender and made the most of the dive. Really unsportingl

Voyer kichu nai....fair game hobe. Tobe Argentina jadi ektu Physical game khele, tahole Germany o response korbe eta thik. Tobe jehatu Germany host, tai tara Hard Tackle er dike jabe na. And if you see Germany's previous games, they didn't foul so much.

I am afraid, this may not come true and Brazil might fail again. Brazil alawys lost against France and I was not at all happy to see them go to QF. Even though, France isnt playing any great football, but, one Zidane is enough for Brazil , plus they have an excellent defence. It will be a hard fought battle and I really really really hope that Brazil can break the zinx this time.

I can't wait to see the Germany-Argentina game. Even though I dislike both teams I want to see Germany wipe the floor with Argentina so I point and laugh at the ignorant Brazil-hating Argentina supporters around me.. if not, oh well.. No hard feelings! :p

wait a minute, Brazil and Argentina have the best of relationships within themselves along with Venezuela and Cuba, as a matter of fact all South Americans have good relationships within themselves, except for Chile because of their action in the folkland war. I just do not understand why you have to hate one when loving the other, is it not possible to love them both?

Well I'm talking about football supporters all over the world, in particularly the ones around me, i.e. my family and friends.

Says Henry:
"I am not a guy who cheats. You can ask Puyol whether I cheated. He came up to me afterwards to apologise. I don't go down easily but people can say whatever they want to say about me"
"Puyol left his position and came right into my face with his shoulder. If we were playing basketball, it would have been a good block. But we were playing football."

and have some Tranquillizers ready by your couch, in case 1998 comes back.
You will need it to soothe your pain.

It would be better if Brazil faces Argentina in the final instead of Germany. Then Brazil will have a fair chance of winning the trophy. Referees always favor the home team more or less.

Alot of People(Journalists, experts) on soccer/football believe that Euro 2000 Capped him as the greatest of this Generation, and many believe if he can lead France past Brazil and win the cup that he'd be in the same company as Pele, Maradona and ___________ (Zidane?). As the one of the most elite players of all time.
Don't wanna take anything from Ronaldo but Brazil can win w/o Ronaldo, France can't imagine life with out Zidane.
