Will we still be 7th if we lose 1-2 or 0-3? Not that I think we'll lose all three.

Yeh we will, but to get to 6th we need to win 3-0 courtesy of 2nd ODI vs Afg

Pakistan almost caught up, just a win away from overtaking us.

Windies hosting England and then Pakistan in Mar-Apr. We desperately need to win some ODIs before Sep 1 deadline to stay ahead of those two teams.

Wondering - if Pakistan manage to get ahead of us in ranking, will they still visit us in July or will try to push that series after September?

I see West Indies is all set to get better at ranking. They are playing England and Pakistan at home. I feel Pakistan and Bangladesh would be at 8-9 if this form continues. Then Bangladesh will play Ireland in Ireland twice. A loss there will hurt Bangladesh badly.

PCB is full of dirty tricks...they are worse than BCCI now. But we need the Test matches so need to be firm yet diplomatic.
