Lets talk about expectations from the two Tests vs. the English team now.
The first test will be underway within a very short time. We have been talking a lot about this exciting series. But how far do we expect our team to go?
Every series has some goals and expectations of it’s very own. It varies from opponent to opponent, from conditions to conditions
Which one of the above will you consider to be real appreciable success in this 2-Tests series vs. England? Lets break down our enthusiasm into specific targets now!! I tried to mark out some outputs we can be proud of ... mention yours if you got anything else in mind!
Go Tigers!

I wonder what that 'Others' vote mean!
Is that something like 'Beating England in one test'?! ;)

Other:
Taking both of the tests to 4th day.

I am a bit confused by this poll. My confusion steams from the choices given. For example, if BD Bowlers get 30 English wickets of the 40 (2 tests), then there is a good possibility of not letting any innings defeat happen.
Not letting England score above 450 in any of the 4 innings is a possibility, but taking both test to 5th day sound impossible without rain interruption. If rain interruption was considered for the choice where we draw the game, rain should have been considered here as well.
Anyways, voted for others!

I think England's highest score against BD is around 360 so i pick keeping England below 450.

i think more relevant thread would be about the first innings score....
for us 300 or plus is a reasonable yet difficult ask... if they bat anninthing less than 400 will be fantastic..

there are so many options mentioned which could contribute to the materialisation of other options. Such as, if BD batsmen could score 650+ runs in two tests combines, you could certainly see the whole team forcing the tests to the 5th or even one of the Tests being a draw.
Nonetheless, the options are good. This poll atleast made me think!

not letting the score past 450 would be a raelistic goal, or is it?

i think it is realistic. but it is better if they take about 3 days to score that instead of 2 days. then there is a chance that we can extend our batting too and just sit their till the 5th day comes.

but FRB... I don't see our BD making ENG play for 3 days to get to 450. BD batting will be valuable.. specially our first innings score if anything like a draw is to be tried for.
