Bangladesh will play their first ever Test at Lords.
Playing first time at Lords, no team ever won a test.
Australia, West Indies, India and Zimbabwe lost the test whereas South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka managed to get a draw. Every Team that lost the first test at Lords suffered an innings defeat.
For Bangladesh, most expected result is a defeat. Following the trend, it should be a innings defeat too.
History is on our side!!!!
Here is the Statistics:

India didn't - it was by just 158 runs.
A very creditable performance considering we gave England (who were nearly at their full strength) quite a bit of scare and as skipper CK Nayudu (the best player in the side) played with a bad hand injury. At the end, the difference between the sides was just the two innings by Douglas Jardine.

If I may be allowed to boast a bit - Just a week before, the English openers Holmes and Sutcliffe had set the first wicket world record of 555 while playing for Yorkshire. Here. within half an hour of the start. Mohammad Nissar had clean bowled both in a single over, and Frank Woolley was brilliant runout to reduce England to 19/3.

Ridwanbhai, translation please (is that what reverse_swing said ?) :(
I should learn atleast to say 'I don't know Bangla' in Bangla. DJ Sahastra often gives me an inferiority complex ;)

Tintin is the man!! Amazing how much he bloody knows about cricket! Ask him who was the highest scorer in the County Championships in 1959, he'll tell you off the top of his head!
