Holland is an unfortunatele team. They have dominated every game against Bangladesh up until 1997. All of a sudden, their players grew old and they started to lose. However, they still won the ICC trophy last time by defeating Namibia.

Another good thing about them, they participate in the English county championships. They don't fill up their team with Indians, West Indians, SriLankans, or Australians like Canada or does not have Indians like the Kenyans do. Unfortunately, no one in Holland even knows that they have a cricket team. :)

Holland should be awarded with ODI status. All Kenyan players were born in Kenya irrespective of their origin, so that is good for them. Holland has always been an unfortunate team. They were twice runner-ups in the ICC Trophy 1986 and 1990 but unfortunately couldn't qualify as only the top-team qualified.

I have always supported Holland and was sad when they lost to India despite fully deserving to win then as they bowled out India for 204. They should be awarded ODI status.

I believe that the ICC must do something to develop the game in Holland.

They won this battle though -
