Mohammedan has scored 390 runs for the loss of 6 wickets against Abahani today on Day One of the Four Day Super League match.
Nafis Iqbal - Akram Khan's Bhatija has scored 135 - highest of the match so far. Naimur is unbeaten on 50 off 60 balls and Anwar Hossain (wk) is unbeaten on 14.
I think I would have liked to see Naimur scoring those 50 runs in 100 balls to see some temperament in him.
See BangladesherKhela for more info for now.

Mohammedan in the process to win. They are now 433 runs ahead. Mohammedan is my favorite club in BD. I'm a great fan of Mohammedan. I remember when I was about 6 or 8 I made a flag of Mohammedan to cheer and to show my support for them. :)

Hannan fights back for Abahani
Discarded national opener Hannan Sarker struck a superb unbeaten century to lead an Abahani fight-back against Mohammedan on the second day of their GrameenPhone Super League clash at the BKSP in Savar yesterday.
Dropped along with two others from the national team after a disappointing campaign in the World Cup, Hannan scored 118 in his first domestic cricket appearance since returning from South Africa last month.
His undefeated knock helped Abahani reach 265-6 at close after their bitter-rivals plundered another 75 runs to their mammoth 390 overnight.
Mohammedan finished their first innings quota on 100 overs with the score on 465-9.
Hannan struck twelve boundaries in his 244-ball vigil at the crease. But despite the valiant effort from the diminutive right-hander Abahani still needs another 50 runs to avoid follow-on.
While Hannan seized the opportunity to flourish in domestic cricket following a special arrangement by the Board, his more illustrious partner Al-Shahriar continued to
Al-Shahriar score only five before becoming the victim of experienced paceman Hasibul Hossain.
Abahani's Pakistani recruit Imran Nazir got off to a flashy start, making 31 off 25 balls. The right-hander paid the penalty for showing little respect to the opponent bowlers.
He became one of the three victims of slow left-armer Enamul Hoque.
Toqhid made 30 and all-rounder Neeyamur scored 31. But it was only Hannan who showed proper application.
Away at the Fatullah Stadium, Moniruzzaman kept up his good form with the bat.
The unheralded right-hander scored a fine 113 as Uttara Sporting Cup posted a fighting 218-9 in 92 overs against defending champions Victoria on the first day of their Super League match.
Monir hammered 18 boundaries and a six in his 166-ball knock. Al-Amin with 41 was the other notable performer for Uttara.
Left-arm spinner Manjarul Islam was the wrecker-in-chief for Victoria, finishing with four for 25. Razzak also claimed four wickets giving away 46 runs.

MSC, Victoria run riot
Abahani Krira Chakra were facing an uphill task to save their GrameenPhone Premier Division Super League match against perennial rivals Mohammedan Sporting Club at the BKSP ground in Savar yesterday.
On the penultimate day of the four-day game, Abahani were 25 for no loss in their second innings after Mohammedan set them a victory target of 434 runs.
Resuming the day on 265 for six and still needing another 50 runs to avoid the follow on, Abahani were tantalisingly close to reaching the mark before being all out for 311 in 84.5 overs.
But Mohammedan, instead of enforcing the follow on, decided to bat on and scored 279 for seven in their second innings to take the overall lead to 433.
Former national captain Naimur Rahman led the second innings charge for Mohammedan with his second half century of the match.
Naimur, who scored 67 in the first innings, smashed 86 yesterday in 130 minutes with a six and eight boundaries to lay the foundartion of a big total.
Together with one-down Aftab Ahmed, Naimur shared 128 runs for the third wicket stand before Aftab was out on 81.
Aftab hit seven boundaries in his patient 220-minute stay at the crease.
Among others, Mohammedan's India recruit Sandeep Sharma added 49.
VICTORIA V UTTARA
In the other match at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium, Victoria Sporting Club were in total control over Uttara Sporting Club on Day Two.
Fifties from Wasim Nayeem, Rafiqul Islam, Azam Iqbal and Mohammad Salim helped Victoria to a mammoth 406 for four at stumps in reply to Uttara's 225.
Wasim scored highest 97 while Rafiqul made 81.
Azam and Salim were batting on 88 runs each.
Together, the duo shared an undefeated 171-run fifth wicket stand.

Yahooo Mohammedan won :) (no hard feellings for Abahani fans)
Mohammedan SC won against Abahani by 203 runs and Victoria SC won against Uttara SC by an innings and 108 runs.
We should take a close look at this two players Mohammad Salim and Azam Iqbal for including in the national team or A team. These two players have great abilities.
Take a look in today's daily star for more info (http://www.dailystarnews.com/200304/08/n3040804.htm#BODY1)
