Just read the news in prothom-alo. Ganguly is not likely to come in the TVS tri-series in Dhaka which means we got a better chance to register some wins.

On the other hand our specialist batsman are again failing to do their job in the practice match which is really something bad for us. From the other side Masud's confidence is raised by his century in the practice matc and Tapash and Manju's bowling is also moving in the right direction. Again our bottom line is our opening order. Javed was not included in this practice match.

No - even without Ganguly, there is no chance. From Indian cricket point of view, we don't know that whether Yuvraj Singh, Sehwag or Kaif would be the next Ganguly - the next MINNOW HUNTER.

On our point of view, it looks like that everything is AS USUAL, even though Akram Khan, Mehrab Hossain have been included.

Now that Pilot's intentions and determination is clear, it is now a matter of time for our team management to realize that we have only one middle order batsman and that is Khaled Mashud - Not Akram Khan, not Habibul Bashar, not Alok Kapali - not anyone else.

So the sooner they realize this fact and act accordingly - that is, promote Khaled Mashud to a genuine middle order batsman's position, the better.

I was particularly disappointed in Akram Khan. He should have scored at least a fifty, if not more. It only goes to show that he IS FALLING.

This was just a practice match. :)

Pilot is the only etermined player in the buch. In the last 3/4 years e is the only improved player while the rest have been playing below their potential for whatever reason they have.

With the tournament starting in a few days, it is crucial that we do not give this practice matches too much importance.

We need to see the result in the real matches. That's all that matters.

By the way, good to see Masri bowl. Any news on Sharif's injury/recovery ?

Look at this:

Bangladesh = India - Ganguly.

Ganguly is a guy who does well against minnows and if he is not coming, we would beat India twice. The difference between BD and India is just Ganguly. Intresting to see how "amit" reacts to this.

If Gangulay doesnt come, even this pesimistic me has to agree, BD has a shot.

Prothomo-alo confirms that at the last Ganguly is coming this tri-series. Bad luck for us.
