Ashraful has a lot of talent and confidence and can be our "Virender Sehwag" or "Sachin Tendulkar" and is the youngest ever test centurion at 17 years and 63 days. He achieved this on his debut and this is quite an achievement. He already has 2 ODI 50's to his name and both of them achieved this year and that too in the last 4 matches.

He has a bright future and would help BD win some matches on his own.

I think he can easily score an ODI century this year and that too in 80/90 balls.

Well its kinda hard to say that Ashraful will score an ODI century this year. He is not being very constant with his performance and his over confidence is killing him. He goes for too many pull shots which is a negative poin.

I don't think he would be able to score an ODI century this year, he needs some time to work on in his weakness. I'm sure he'll rectify himself and would be able to score a century easily in the next following years.

Give the guy a break. Its the level of expectation that screwed him up. He still has a long way to go and a lot to learn. Lets hope he does well.

Do you think Ashraful is good enough to play in English county or Australian domestic cricket?

Nope. His shot selection is still way too poor for English county or Australian domestic cricket. In English county cricket, the conditions are gonna be too much for him. And in Australia, any first class bowler will work out his weaknesses and exploit. Firstly, he is an instinctive hooker, but he doesn't necessarilly get hold of it everytime. But more importantly, he still plays too many shots to do well in England or Australia. If he can learn to be more judicious with his shot selection and tighten his technique a little bit, he could perhaps do well in county cricket, or even in Australia.

Ashraful can be good enough for county cricket after 2 years. He should be given sometime to develop as a player. He still can century this year.
