If you Compare Days 1,2 and 3 of Both Tests you'd find them Very Similar.

T1D1-Controlling the Game at 155/2 and then we collapse to 188.

T2D1 - Controlling the Game having Lanka at 40/4 then they end the day at 449.

T1D2 - Lanka open Strong dominating us looking like there going to score 450+, but we fight and restrict them to 370/9 and we end the Day with Bashar on the crease.

T2D2 - Lanka open Strong dominating us bowling us allout for 191. but we still fight now at 131/4 with Ash at the crease.

I remember after Day2 of the First Test, most if us thought that Bashar would play well and that we'd give Lanka a modest total of 110-150 to chase. However Bashar only Lasts a few deleveries and were all out for 86.

Now look at us now after Day 2 of the second Test. Just like the first Test except this time our hopes are with Ash and hoping for us to get another chance to bowl.

Lets Just hope that this Test doesn't follow the same exact script that the first Test did.

Ash is a "first-ball" bunny. Tomorrow's first deliveries will be vicious and lethal. We need 136 more to avoid innings defeat. Besides, I've never seen a side showing dramatic improvement at the end of a long and tiring tour. Need I say more?

Let's just brace for the worst.

The most common similarity in all the test matches we have played is that we have lost most of them by an innings on the third day.

Can we rate the last 4 5-day matches BD played as Test, that is the question?

The senior players might not had the skills those lads possess but they had this dogged tenacity what we only see in KM. I think if they were still playing we might not had few big one day wins but we could dramatically reduce the number of Innings defeats in test matches.

Ash will be the "key' today. I agree with Billah. if Ash can survive the first hour, we would save the follow on.
If Ash goes early, team will collapse again.
Let's hope, there will be some miracles today and those will be for our side

Simple similarity in every test series is INNINGS defeat with FOLLOW on ( sometime ), except against ZIM.

Let's face the reality. We will lose by an innings. This will continue to happen if the batsmen don't change mentally. Bowling has shown promise and fielding has to improve substantially and be at par with the rest of the test teams. A whole lot of catching practice is required. I think we need to add a psychiatrist too.

Look at the similarities between the two tests played far apart.

Both team are 6 wickets away from defeat.
Both teams are about 150 runs away to avoid losing by an inning.
Both teams had their moment in the match when they took 4 odd wickets for less than 50 odd runs.
Both teams have been undone by two opposition batsman playing well, aided by decent knock from a tailender.
Both team were in position to do lot better than what the final scoreline has to say.

Amazing similarities.
Both team would start in nearbout same situation tomorrow.

similarities...all the players are stupid and have no brains but bull c#$p
second...they are full of worthless talents, knowing all the shots but don't know how to play it...if you are specialist you should be good..if you are not you better quit...they don't know how to play test level cricket...so they should start playing cricket with school level teams in test playing countries...

third they are bunch of hungry beggars who just know how to eat before lunch so they g et out before lunch in "pairs" so that they can go at the same time the food table to eat fairing the food will be gone.

fourth and so on...they don't deserve to represent a country in t est cricket.
