Converting Computer stream to TV/Scan converters

I need some insider tips about converters. Basically, i am shopping around for a scan converter so that i can get the internet streams onto TV . So far teh only info i am relying on is this from Willow:willow (http://www.willow.tv/EventMgmt/FAQ.asp)

Is there a cheaper converter than this as as they seem to be priced at least 100 bucks? I don't want to go through with it if teh mage is sttill going to be crappy.

I am not sure what exactly you mean by converter, but sounds like all you need is a video card. But you are correct in saying that they cost around $100 minimum.
