june 2004 we had our first ever women football league. as expected, dhaka came out as winner of the championship. now, the question is- when will the 2nd football league occur....or will it ever take place? starting the female football league was a brave effort, now continuing it is our responsibility.......
no newspaper or media talks about this issue. that's very disappointing! isn't there anything we can do to help the women football survive??

That would be a very tough task, specially in Bangladesh. I will be really honest with you. First of all, I don't have a sister, but If I did, I wouldn't want her to join the football team. Second of all, I don't think my sister would have wanted to join the football team, even if I asked her to join. So, now you see my point. But I also know that not everybody in Bangladesh are like me, so there is still some hope. I have a suggestion though. The only way for women football to survive is to encourage our people about women football. How can we do that? By advertising in radio, TV, and also newspapers. What do you guys think?
