i think that it looks great after initial dismay. if they remove the yellow it will be terrific. even better than our old jersey, which i liked more than the previous one (2003 WC kit). but at first i really liked the 03 kits.

its a good thing our kits just keep getting better.

plus i like the 'bangladesh' on the front.

are the rumors that the personalized kits will be available for retail true?

i remember that the kit that the u-19 teams used in the last world cup was not the same as that of the national team then.

I don't like the green in our jersey. It's too bright. I think it'd look better if they used the green in our national flag:

More like the green of the batsman's pads

I don't think our ODI jersey is good. Not inspiring at all. I don't understand why we have to go outside the country (pakistan) to make a national team outfit, when Garments is our # 1 export sector. Besides, we have a lot of excellent fashion designers at home who would be more than happy to design a National Jersey, if BCB asks them to do so.

Our ODI jersey looks very gloomy to me. We really need to change our color combinations to give the boys some inspiration. We should have a design competition for our jersey.

i like our kits...the u-19 green is not bad, but i don't mind the flag green tho.

we have better kits than:

india
pak
sl
england
zimbabwe
kenya

the only teams with comparable beauty in ODI kits is:

south africa and australia

new zealand and Windies have nice kits, but ours is better

Couple of things.

I don't think this design will be the same as the national team will use.

Yes in the last U19 World Cup, they used a different design kit to the national team, but that could of been that the deal with AJ Sports did not include them to create the kit of the U19 team. However, the new kit deal with Ihsan Sports includes the U19 team.

Secondly, having 'Bangladesh' on the front is only used in international tournaments including tournaments invovled using the national team. This is due to restrictive advertising laid down by the ICC. If you look at the first U19 kit created by Ihsan Sports during the trianglar tournament involving Bd, SL and Eng in December, you will notice that Grameen Phone is across the front of the jersey:

Also if you note that this kit is essentially the same design and colour (with the awful yellow bits) but does not have a collar and buttons. The kit in the U19 World Cup now has a collar with buttons.
