Does anyone know about this fivelive of BBC? Now I think that it was quite fortunate for me that I didn't discover it sooner, otherwise I would have come forward (AND THEN SEE BANGLADESH LOSE TO CANADA!)
Dear Fahmida,
Hope this will find you in the best.
I get a query from BBC.
Basically they need a cricket fan who will be watching/listening to as many Bangladesh games as possible during the tournament. They want to speak to them (Bangladesh Fan) after every Bangladesh match, so they would need to be pretty good at speaking English. Also, they'd probably want to speak to them early on in the morning (about 7am Bangladesh time). Unfortunately there is no money available, but they will want to put a picture of the cricket fan on the website - www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive. The interviews will be broadcast on BBC Radio Five Live, which is a domestic radio service in the Uk, which is also available via the website.
So, are you interested? If so, please let me know ASAP.
Thanks

The email was sent on 30th January 2003 by Sohel Awrangazeb - the Bangladeshi CEO of the Bangladesh Cricinfo site (I had always thought that with the downsizing of the Bangladesh Cricinfo site, Mr. Sohel Awrangozeb was also out of the job - aparently not). This email was sent to me on my old email account at agni (dial up) where I don't go regularly to check mails for some time (over a few months or so).
