It's all Aftab's fault . He was playing so good indeed and in a sudden he had to go for all the shots :) Why he is coming at number 3 for ? He should bat at number 5 .

Why "Rajin Saleh" didn't start off with a flyer today ? If he would have then we must have ended up a good score . Big mistakes was batting first at first place , no mercy for that .

What was the official attendance figure, or am I being a bit optimistic in thinking that they actually managed to establish one? ;)

All the tickets (20,000) were sold out and there were many people who had regrets of not being able to manage a ticket! :flag:

The stadium looks great for sure!

its good but i don't want to see bangladesh have international stadiums with a capacity 20 000 or such , well is mirpur the only stadia with a 50 000+, because as far as i know, fatullah can accommodate 25000, chittagong 15000, and khulna 18000. please confirm. thanks

From the daily star news the stadium has a capacity of around 13,000 seats.

"Ali Hossain, vice-chairman of tickets and seating committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), however dismissed allegations of printing extra tickets. He rather pointed a finger to the real capacity of the stadium.

"We have printed 18,000 tickets for one match but I think, this stadium has hardly 13,000 seats. What can we do if the local authority misinforms us?" questioned Hossain."

the stadium looks great... it looks like rajins out was maybe a little too harsh as from the pic, I think its little too high to be given LBW.

Nah it was out.

1. Rajin is a small fella
2. Hit right on the knee roll
3. Not a long way forward

As for the staidum, the ground is not small at all. It is the right size. It's just that they don't have a lot of seating. It's probably a good idea not to make a 30,000 capacity stadium right at this moment considering Bogra is still a mofosshol shohor and a huge capacity means nothing unless there is reasonable attendance. I just hope that the stadium is expandable. Anticipating similar enthusiasm for future cricketing events here, a 5-8,000 increase in capacity may be necessary.

also it looks like the ball is pretty much on the edge of the grey zone when it hits rajin on the pad which probably means it was outside the zone when it hit the pitch. bloody incompetent umpires...cost us the match :)

That doesn't matter actually. The ball can pitch anywhere (except for outside the leg stump). It's a fair call as long as it hits the batsman's leg at least in line with the off stump.

ps: were you being sarcastic?

well its quite hard to judge from the pic... so I will take your words for it... I am not exactly sure what cost us the match though...

Feeling proud that at least we didn't lost with them for 10 wickets.

to be honest the 5 wicket margin doesnt paint the right picture of the game... the later wickets fell when the SL wanted to finish the game in a hurry... Dilshan tried being too smart trying to play rafique very very late... The ball wasnt bouncing to high during the SL innings. I didnt see how Mubarak fell but Jayasuriya was undone by a ball that cut into him and stayed lower than he expected and so was dilshan. Sangakarra wanted to wallop one out of the stadium, and it was a tired shot really... i wonder why he was so tired given only 60 overs were played between the 2 innings. The same went for the other bloke... kapugedara... rash shots trying to end the game quick... well not taking away anything from the spinners but SL could have easily walked out with just 2 wickets down.
