Like all other teams, Bangladesh opens the bowling with two pacers. And then always has a problem for the first change in bowling.
Yesterday’s ODI (2nd ODI against SL) was not an exception. When Nazmul came as a first bowling change, he blew up what the first two bowlers accomplished with their very good bowling. In two overs Nazmul gave up lot of runs and changed the momentum of the game in SL’s favor.
To remedy the situation, I think BD should try the followings:
1. Replace Nazmul with some other pacers like Rajib
2. Try Tapash if he is available
3. Follow the strategy of the U-19, start the bowling with 2 pacers and then put a flurry of SLAs like Rafique, Rana and Kapali.
Please give your thought.
