umpires are there for the practicing bowlers to make sure they are not over stepping or for wide balls. Also i think they also do their practice by doing this.

So far Hariharan didnt do bad in the ODI except for Nafees caught behind. I hope he does better in the tests. Buckner is one of the best but time to time he does give poor decision tho.
