Nafees selected to lead U-23

The last time Nafees lead the U-19, the whole team turned against him. The performence of the BD team was a disaster. There was even a probe committee to investigate what went wrong, though the report was never made public.

Now he is again selected the captain!!! Don't we have anone else?? This is the U-23, pretty much these people will lead the national team in 2-3 years. Are they tring to say there is no one to lead except Nafees in near future?

Or is it the family ties that makes him untouchable?

Personally, I think Nafees is a very good captained every junior team (almost) that he has been with but his last stint for the under 19 side was a big dissapointment. We LOST to Nepal even though we beat India. The rest of the performances were uneven.

He was blamed for most of it but the probe was never made public - what's the point of the probe then ?

Hopefully there is a good reason for BCB to pick him as the captain and hopefully they have spoken with him and cleared the confusion that he had ... if not, this is just going to be another disaster.
