So basically we are only 4 test matches this year.

Wow no wonder we're taking so long to improve.

Yes, we are having a long lay off this year. And after that who knows.

An unconfirmed source (Janakantha  ) once said BCCB is trying to arrange a series with Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe this July.

Also, Lanka board offered to send their A-team for few matches long back, BCCB kept the tour hanging. International calendar at TigerCricket says it will take place in May, but I doubt that will ever happen.

we' ve toured there and we hosted them in i think 2003/4, I recall rudolf making a double century with dippenaar. it was rudolphs debut as well!!!

BD have yet to tour india and aus are going to play us in april, apart from those two exceptions BD have nealy completed one cricketing cycle.

This DS report (http://www.thedailystar.net/2006/03/16/d60316040126.htm) also says Bangladesh team is due to tour Zimbabwe this July for a five match ODI series (look at the bottom para). But you should not take anything for granted where Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) is involved.

The para also said something about Afro-Asia Cup in November. I don't think that tournament will ever again take place, with Sharad Pawar already making so much fuss over the Champions Trophy.

Sri Lanka A will arrive in BD this week.

Yes, Bangladesh needs more cricket. It seems so unfair that you will end up with only 4 tests this year.
