View Full Version : Mashrafee Mortaza: The 4th Best Striker in the World

Mashrafee Mortaza now holds the 4th best ODI batting strike-rate in the world.
Mashrafee’s current strike rate is 105.51. There are only 7 players in the world (with minimum 20 innings) with a strike rate above 100. When I checked day before the match against Kenya, he was 15th on the list with strike rate something around 94. But with his remarkable onslaught of 44 in 16-ball, he moved up to the 4th position in the list of All-time ODI Best Batting Strike Rate. Only MS Dhoni (108.73), Shahid Afridi (108.43) and Andy Blignaut (106.65) are above Mashrafee at this moment.

Good Job Mashrafee.
Hit’em Hard!!

Haha. Go Mashrafee! Hmm..I was wondering..If we had one Adam Gilchrist, Five Mashrafees and Five in form Afridis, will we have an extremely strong team?

pathan as of late has not been bowling well...

masri has only faced like 200 odd balls, so that SR is deceptive when compared to afridi, and dhoni.

but still the way he bats, Masri will prolly still have a career SR of at least 90 but prolly 95-100.

true true.. its totally worthless if he can never make the same affort again when its needed.. cause i remember few months age he was facing this problem.. he didn't make much runs and totally forgot how to bat.. oh ya in the england tour

one thing mashrafe hates is a bouncing bowl.. hope he learns to bat well in all conditions would be nice to have a hard hitting all rounder in the site as Rafique wont last last with age nearing

Mashrafe's main job is bowling !! If he is good with his bowling then fine !!! He didn't bowl that good against Kenya !! :(
