Did he umpire in SL-BD 1st test match?.. if so.. then.. I am also in the hate club. He is a typical bengali. He can do wrong just to save his ownself. He gave couple of wrong decisions agaisnt bd and sl.. as he was under pressure for Sl bowlers. What a pity.

I believe we all know by now how incompetent an umpire he is.
Today he first turned down 4-5 plumb LBW's but thats expected of him so i didnt mind.
But then he started his war against pilot for refraining him from geting his 100 th ODI dismissal,and by now he has turned down two extremly valid caught behind wickets.There was big noise and
deflection in both case and even asif karim was very surprised

I think I read somewhere that the umpires have to lobby to the BCB for making them umpires. Whether that's true for International matches also, that I don't know.
