A very smart comment. Thanks for bringing it up.
Yeh I agree, pretty insightful. Lets hope it won't matter! Nafees just hit a great boundary, beat three fielders! :D

55.4 Warne to Shahriar Nafees, FOUR, good shot, sweeps well over the square leg fielder, ball goes into the fence, well played.
He has not right to destroy Warne's carrier:mad:

Spitfire, Bashar getting out after playing an accomplished innings like this one is not a problem - he did his job. It's the manner of his dismissal, and the timing right before tea that leaves room for improvement. When you reach 238/1 and you have a scored a chanceless 76, you want to come back after tea and get to your century. Also the timing of the wicket has a huge psychological effect. Having given up 144 in the first session, the Aussies would be at their wits end had they gone through the second session without a single wicket. I would rather Bashar get out for the same score two balls after tea than two balls before.
In any case, on to current issues. Comparing Shahriar chasing down Ashraful's 158 vs India - two very different innings don't you think. Nafees is way more composed and in control, while Ashraful was astonishing the way he accelerared from 100 to 150. Somehow I think Nafees' approach is better!
Rajin looks like he needs to score a few and get going and not fall into the trap of being too cautious.

Not really mate, what I meant to say was, if we can bat through a couple more sessions (we're only 3 down), we could post a mammoth total (I don't want to think about it though, we've collapsed too many times, from a great position, to even consider). But even so, if we can bowl to them on a 4th or 5th day wicket, with Rafique and Anal, then who knows!
And, wouldn't you know it! Ashraful's gone! Ignore what I just said!

Does anyone know why it took Saleh this long to break back into the first team? I mean clearly he's talented, and he has about 2500 first class runs to his name at an average of over 35 (One of the best first class averages of any player in his generation - Comparable even to Bashar) He's got 4 Test 50's, and another 6 scores between 40-49! I'm baffled! But hey, maybe thats just me! :-/

They're actually not bowling that badly at the moment, Warney bowled alot of loose deliveries early on, but last few overs have been a struggle. I think it has alot to do with the pitch, and the way we have batted (Sensibly for the most part). MacGill is getting alot of turn though!
