reading the time/clock issue on the BD v Aus 1st Match thread, although I know its a bit irrelevant here, AND since i've been lazy to write about it:
ever since Daylight Savings came on last sunday in North America, the BC time displayed in my browser is off by an hour from EDT, and is residing in CDT. I hope the webmaster takes the concerted effort to change this thing to GMT/UTC or BST once and for all, which would put it irrespective of daylight savings changes the world over.

Go to your profile. Edit your timezone.

Nasif Bhai,
the setting in the profile is fixed at -5 hrs GMT for Eastern. During Daylight Savings time this turns to -4 hrs, however the profile doesnt give that option. Personally I have no problem selecting Atlantic Time for myself for the sake of keeping it in sync, however thats still inaccurate for the posters.
I see you've updated times to GMT. Thanks for noting my suggestion. Maybe a sticky note announcing this change would help avoid confusion among posters for the thread too? Sorry for overbearing you all of a sudden.

This is a built in feature of XMB software. You just have to choose -4 GMT as your timezone.
We have to live little more with it, until we upgrade.

CST, EST, MST or PST are not only for US, Canada where the day-light savings time change occur. Other countries in the same time zone such as parts of Brazil, cuba do not adjust the hours. Even a county in Illinois and Hawaii there is no daylight savings. So just for the sake of US members adding or subtracting time wouldn't be wise and correct.

Cats_eye, thats why I suggested fixing that to GMT/UTC or Bangladesh Time which is static and doesnt change, and we all can relate to according to our location. However that was in the former XMB system, and the new vBulletin seems to have taken care of the time issue. Thanks to Nasif bhai anyways :)
