Well Bangladesh has made a stupendous start in this test. A 400+ score is ours for the taking. But later today we will surely have to bowl and I wanted to look ahead and cast a glance at the 'formidable' aussie batting lineup.
The Australians will be playing with an extended tail as they are playing with five bowlers instead of the customary three pacer and a spinner. But they could afford to do that as Warne and Lee have done enough recently to deserve the title of 'allrounders.' But still Gilchrist at 6 is one position too high, especially in light of his recent poor form. Add to all that Clark's return after being dropped, Hussey's inexperience in these conditions, Ponting's struggles in India and one can definately see a fighting chance for our bowlers.
Although the featherbed pitch has been slow but it has turned quite prodigiously even on the first day. Enamul and Rafiq will definately be a handful in this pitch. I am eagerly anticipating todays proceedings. Anything can happen here!
