I think the the ODI uniform of BD cricket team does not show any seriousness. the previous uniform was relatively good. the uniform at present contains various colours- light green, yellow, red. it creates a mess, though it may have artistic value. it seems that this is the U19 team. i suggest that the uniform should be based on deep green colour, like the previous one, because it shows a kind of maturity.
the main thing is that, the uniform should be changed. what do you think guys?
আসল কথা হলো বাংলাদেশ দলের পোষাকের মধ্যে একটা ভারিক্কী থাকতে হবে

it wont work bcos bd r no longer part of AJ sports, which is globally renowned 4 making pkstn's kit and formerly aus's.

now bd r with specialist bat makers ihsan sports, who primarily make bats, and very rarely make kits.

so since they r novices in the kitmaking game, they produced a piece of crap. we've had this thread b4.

the yellow ruins it. it now looks more like a football shirt,

Can't BD make their own kits?

I mean, we have sooo many garment factories and EPZ's!

Best combination is :

DARK GREEN pants with 1 WHITE Vertical stripe on each leg.

DARK GREEN top with orange fire effect on arms ( slightly) and ANGLADESH written on the chest in zebra text effect.

I have a suggestion of giving a number to all the bangladesh players and their numbers should be in their tshirt. This should be the lifetime number..

yea the new kit is simply ridiculous (esp with the yellow collar)....

are ihsan BD team er kit sponsor bole ki, ja khushi tai poray khelabe naki...
this shud be changed immediately....

and its not that only few of us are complaining, BD's ODI kit is distinctly 'joghonno' compared to the other teams and I am speaking for all the Bangldeshi Cricket lovers that I know

The kit in England tour was best. I also liked the Independence Cup '98 kit that BD had

BD Should design their own kit, whoever the sponsor is.

there is probably something wrong with me.... I don't really share your views... I see nothing wrong with it...its just.... A kit not worth a debate.

I think they used the little yellow to give a bit of Aussi flavour.
But neverthe less it's a bad kit. These things happens. Just look at Manchester United football club in the UK. There kit also changed to somethinng really bad. Did not go down well with the fans. A year later they were forced to change it.
What I am interested in is seeing is how will the BD kit look for the 2007 WC. Any Idea guys?

The green and red looks good on our national flag, but so far it did not work on our jersey. Since it is a norm to go with the flag colors on our jersey we should try to find something better than what we have.
Looking at the new one I prefer the previous one. The yellow color needs to go.....
Can't BCB hire a designer to come up with a good one instead of using "pasher barir dorji".

who cares as long as the people wearing it are performing well?

Sure it doesn't look good.. I liked the kit from Natwest seriest last year.. the green should be darker, the red more vibrant, the fabric silky and the collar very very dark green.. We have a huge garments industry I'm sure if BCB hires a designer we can producer better kits on our own.
