Kapali was struck in the head when a ball ricocheted off a stump during a fast bowler's mid-pitch practice.
He fell to the ground and had to be assisted from the field by team-mates and the Tigers physio.
Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore threw a bat to the ground in frustration upon seeing the commotion, later saying he believed Kapali - a big hitter and leg-spinner - would have made a big impact in the game.

Anyway, it was reported elsewhere that he'd be available for the next match.
