Kapali was struck in the head when a ball ricocheted off a stump during a fast bowler's mid-pitch practice.

He fell to the ground and had to be assisted from the field by team-mates and the Tigers physio.

Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore threw a bat to the ground in frustration upon seeing the commotion, later saying he believed Kapali - a big hitter and leg-spinner - would have made a big impact in the game.

Anyway, it was reported elsewhere that he'd be available for the next match.

I would love to see Kapali back in the team for the second game... Tushar Imran deserves more opportunities for his solid performance in the A-team.

q is was kapali looking at THADA like ashraful? what the hell? why couldn't he duck? that's why mash was looking so down he spend all his strength on that ball....
