I am thrilled by watching Ash's improvement after sitting for only one match.
Here is an indepth analysis
1st test: 1st inn - 29 from 28, 2nd inn - 4 from 14 (33 from 42. SR = 78.6%)
2nd test: 1st inn - 6 from 16, 2nd inn - 29 from 42 (35 from 58. SR = 60.3%)
1st ODI: 5 from 23. SR = 21.7%
2nd ODi: DNP
3rd ODI: 13 from 32. SR = 40.6%
Conclusion:
1. Ash is definitely totally confused whether he is playing an ODI or a test
2. Ash is no good for test but good(?) for ODI.
3. One match drop has increased his SR by ~19%. So a consecutive 4 match drop would have yielded a SR close to 98%, and a 5 match drop would have made it a whopping 117%.
PS. 7 from 6 is also 117% SR
4. He played only 9 extra balls in 3rd ODI over 1st but scored an extra 8 runs. it's just awesome. Almost 90% SR.
