We should develop crush course for the top batsmen: Bashar, Gullu, Nafees, Abir, Rajin, Ashraful, Aftab, Tushar, Alok, Musfiq. We need atleast 3 of them to click on any given innings. They made improvements a little, instead of only one more often two of them get closer to 50.

But this is just not enough for the highest stage. We need them to hang around much longer. We like to see them play, not to go out for a 15 min show.

I'd love to see one or more dedicated batting as well as bowling camps that are extensive and continuing, run by the top notch coaches. BCCB needs to open up the wallet and open it sooner rather than later.

Batting has been a problem for long enough. It is time to address it aggressively and professionally. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what to do with a student weak at math.

Why wasting time and money in Batting Camp? I thought its pretty easy to do as long as they follow the following steps:

1. Just stand straight
2. When the bowler start his runups shart praying
3. When the bowler about to throw the ball then
a) If you are a genuine batsman: close your eyes and swing the bat as hard as you can without moving your feet.
b) If you are allrounder: close your eyes and then duck. Don't forget to use your bat as a protector incase the ball doesn't bounce.

15 min show? I thought it was more like 5 min peep show. After finishing a big broad smile all across the face. I did it. I played test cricket. The specialized coach should have a whip and should get a clearance letter from the boys parents, girl-friend, wife, and stuborn fans.

I am sure CB will take steps when the mansoon will be at full swing. Hense just use the money for some other purposes.

I don't think there is much for a specialist batting coach to do with this players. It got to be the players themselves try to understand how to bat for long. Most of them has good technique, but little or no determinition. They have to make their mind ready for playing long good innings.

I think a very nice and easy way to develop mind setup is through longer version game in school cricket. If you look into stars, many of them played a double or tripple hundred innings at their teen age. And this is what draw their understanding of the game. How many of our cricketer has a double century in local league or even 2nd division cricket? I am sure not many. I think, we should send all of our batsman to play against 2nd devision team or scholl cricket team to play 4 days game and ask them to score a double hundred. The day when our players will learn to scroe back to back double century against school boys, you know, the mission is complete ;)
