Inquilab report questions Faruque's impartiality in player selection. It says Rajin and Alamgir played in City Club last year (the same team Farouque was the captain).
Also Bidyut thinks he has been a victim so he might announce his retirement soon.
What is really happening in Bangladesh? What kind of professinalism is this?
I would like to know what you all think.

Al Shahriar retiring is his business. With years of good cricket left in him, it seems to be a suprising decision. If it is in response to not being picked to open in tests and he is behaving like a petulant child, then we should let him play in the sandbox with his peers and leave him alone. If he is injured or his heart is no longer in it or his life's priorities have changed- then we should wish him well. He did seem to have a Javed Omaresque temperament for opening a test innning though. Pity.

We ae not talking about Rokon (Al Shahariar). We are talkin about Bidyut (Shahariar Hossain).
They are 2 different persons.

Come to think of it, these two namesakes are quite different from one another.
Shahriar Hossain you could say is a very successful player. In contrast to him, Al Shahriar is a total loser.

Rajin's first class average is 47, and I understand this is BD first class match. In the same first class competetion, Shahriar Hossain has the average of around 26. And, Rajin has been playing for last three years. I don't see how someone can say that he was selected because he played for City Club.

I agree with bhobishshot bhai! Rajin Saleh deserved to be recalled. He is a very talented player and has real hunger to make himself a place in the side, plus he has age on his side. He has been very impressive and consistent through out the Sri Lanka tour from what I remember of the match reports.

Right on, pompous. We don't even know whether this guy was even in the management of the Zim cricket. I, for sure, don't know how Zim cricket is being managed. I know their international record is not very good; still it is better than BD.
With all these unknown, people have already passed judgement on the guy. I find it kind of strange!
