View Full Version : 5th ODI : WI Vs India, time for a "Yellow Wash (4-1)"

May 27, 2006, 08:03 PM
WI made the three consecutive win......now it is the perfect time for creating a mental blow to Indian team before the Test Series......Lara will play the last match in his home ground.......I hope all the WI players try their best to give a memorable gift to their captain......India has nothing to lose…….so probably they will be a little bit desperate to win this match…..but seeing the last 3 match……India will start this match as a Underdog :) …..see what happens on tonight……GO WI GO......

Its a great show by West indies. Good news for world cricket. First trophy by WI after september 2004 (ICC Champions Trophy). Great leadership by Lara and great batting by Sarwan and Bravo.

Bravo is a real find of the series. Congrats and Hats off to West Indies.

India is my second choice team after WI. (Dont need to list BD in the choice or not choice list!) But this time I am happy both for the WI win as well as the Indian loss. I feel sympathy for the Indian fans; but they , especially, the dumb board and selectors, needed some good lesson. With their influence in the ICC, they are escaping any match aginst Bangladesh and have set a very bad example, which Pakistan is going to follow (postponing matches against Zim).

When the team is doing great, they will never be under pressure. But with this defeat and that will follow to this demoralized team, we can expect some slash on the board and its people from the fans all over India. I am a well-wisher of India; but this time I wish them all the bad luck including losing close matches against WI. Let's pray for a Whitewash in the test series by WI.

Bravo did great, actually he is the one who lights up the WI in the 2nd ODI by a 1 run win, after that WI turns into a different team.

By the way, Chappell also did a great job, after the first ODI, he said: "WI forget to win", Lara and WI players took it very seriously and now we see the result (4-1), Chappell's comment hit WI and they got their nerve back to do something.

About India: Indian players and Press always have very big mouth, they always want to say what they like, they have no respect to other's ability, always they are trying to humilate some one. Indian press (about cricket) is the worst one in the world, and I think maximum times they dig the grave of their own player by praising a lot, turning him as a GOD.

At last but not the least, thanks to all who come on this thread and post their valuable comments, you can support any team you like, share your expression and be honest for all the time. Thanks a lot. :)

Its a wake up call for india. winning a few series in the subcontinent does not make the cricket gods, they found that out the hard way.

May 28, 2006, 10:43 PM
I am glad that Chappell has been taught a lesson.

I was sure that Chappell is totally incompetent, his experimentation with youth has led India to nowhere!

May 29, 2006, 06:50 AM
Now the test series is about to start, india has a lot to worry about. i was impressed by agarkar. he still has problem bowling in death overs. but he bowled really well. he could have been a great asset if he was given more chance in batting

May 29, 2006, 07:33 AM
Sovik, Agarkar is not in the test squad of India.

May 29, 2006, 08:03 AM
i know. i was talking about his performance in one day series

May 29, 2006, 01:43 PM
Congratulations West Indies!

India <- :floor:

It is funny that everyone is after Dravid's blood now!

It is funny that everyone is after Dravid's blood now!

Dravid's blood is very sweet, ha ha, just kidding. It is not right and definitely not good, Indian's fans need to be patient in this situation and support their team.

May 30, 2006, 11:24 AM
Only one man can help Dravid....his old mate Sourov Ganguly.....lolz

May 30, 2006, 11:57 AM
Its not Dravid's fault. According to me the list should look like this: (Who are to be blamed)

2. Chappel
3. Hyped-up blind fans who support 1 and 2.

Non of the three play the game yet they are the main reasons for India's dismal performance.

Congrates to WI. See you in the champions trophy.

Are they ???
