Here is a exclusive list of 3 national team players.
The names are listed based on a very specific order.
1. Habibul Bashar
2. Mohammad Rafique
3. Mohammad Ashraful
What is the basis of the order of this list?
It is clearly not by alphabetical order.
Let’s make your task easier: the list is also not by chronological order of birth date, or not even by order of batting average. The order of the list does not concern about the personal life of the cricketers either—it’s all about cricket.

Is it according to their ODI career bowling economy rates against West Indies ?
Yes..that can be a valid order too. But I had another prominent issue in mind.
Here it is:
Answer:
1. Habibul Bashar
2. Mohammad Rafique
3. Mohammad Ashraful
This is the list of top 3 bangladeshi players with Most Ducks in ODI Career.
1. Habibul Bashar >> 16 ducks in 90 innings
2. Mohammad Rafique >> 13 ducks in 94 innings
3. Mohammad Ashraful >> 10 ducks in 79 innings
So, they are Bangladesh's duck leaders.
They produced so many ducks that these 3 players got a place in the "Most Ducks in Career" record list of Cricinfo.

Indeed!
My question : In the List of winning percentages of active international captains compared to when not as captain in ODIs, who has the biggest percentage difference ?
To answer al Furqaan's third question :
Glenn McGrath has bowled the most number of maiden overs in ODIs (271). Shaun Pollock should soon take over the top spot (he has 270). In Tests, Shane Warne leads with 1759 maidens, excluding the on-going 5th match of the Ashes series, in which he bowled 1 in the first innings. Muttiah Muralitharan is second with 1585 maidens. Is Warne's position safe enough ?

My guess is Bashar. Under his captaincy we have won 40.38% matches (21 out of 52), where as we have not won a single match that he played as the non-captain.

So with 2 more maidens in his last career Test, Warne finishes with a total of 1761. After Murali's 1585, next in the list is McGrath with 1470, including the 20 he bowled in his last match. Kumble has had 1425 maidens, excluding the ones from the on-going 3rd Test against South Africa (he has 6 so far, after 3 innings of play). Shaun Pollock, with 1195 maidens so far, is the only other bowler among active players to have more than 1000 maidens.
My guess is Bashar. Under his captaincy we have won 40.38% matches (21 out of 52), where as we have not won a single match that he played as the non-captain.
Yes you're spot on. Our own Habibul Bashar ranks 1st all-time in that category with a percentage difference of 40.38, as you've correctly mentioned, while the late Hansie Cronje sits second with a percentage difference of 36.75.

Ok. This is an easy one. Who is Paul Quddus?
He was a ball boy of probably Dhaka Mohemmedan. He used to bowl chinaman like Paul Adams and Arjuna Ranatunga (while playing for Dhaka Mohammedan) after watching his bowling gave him Paul Quddus name :)
AsifTheManRahman
January 7, 2007, 11:13 PM
yeap. he also bowled to the national batters in the nets after they had trouble playing adams at home, in preparation for the second test of the series. according to coach sarwar imran, the failure was more due to the batsmen being unable to read the chinaman style of adams' bowling.
your turn.

You mean any one day match in Bangladesh ? Not List-A or Premier league matches exclusively ?
Then, how about 503 (http://www.thedailystar.net/2006/01/04/d60104040936.htm) ?

Good find TheWatcher. Well, there is lack of clarity in my question.
I meant tournaments including NCL (one day), Premier League and Dhaka First Division Cricket League.
No age group cricket :)

Partex Sporting Club became Champion of the First Division Cricket League 2005-2006 while young Pegasus ended up as runner up. Both the team were promoted to the Premier League from 2006-07 season. In the final league match Partex set a domestic record for highest ODI total when they posted a mammoth 400 runs in the stipulated 50 overs.

cricinfo profile (http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/zimbabwe/content/player/55802.html)
A disciplined and accurate offspinner, John Traicos is one of international cricket's most unusual members. He made his Test debut - for South Africa - in 1969-70 in their final series before they were cast into sporting isolation, and returned to international cricket in 1992, aged 45, playing in Zimbabwe's first four Tests. The gap between appearances - 22 years and 222 days - is a record. Egyptian born, he grew up in South Africa, touring England in 1967 with the South African Universities, and thereafter played for Rhodesia/Zimbabwe at a time many contemporaries plied their trade overseas. When Zimbabwe were finally admitted to the fold in 1992, Traicos, despite his age, was still far and away the best offspinner in the country, and one of best in the world. And the speed of his reactions fielding in the gully would have shamed many half his age. In Zimbabwe's inaugural Test he took 5 for 86 in 50 overs. His international career ended when business commitments meant he was not available to tour Pakistan in 1993-94. Traicos fled Zimbabwe with his family in 1997 for political reasons and is now a company secretary in Australia. His daughter, Chloe, is an actress.
