The tail can't bat. There is no middle order. The bowling is below average. I think we could have taken this team by surprize. Shahadat is that much better. We have a steady fit lineup. What do you guys think?

Our batsmen would have thrown their wickets anyway

What If we have awaited couple of more years to get our test status while building up a proper infrastucture for the FC games ..... and henceforth.........

i dont think we started playing test matches too early. if we started to playing test this year the result would have been the same. it is cold water effect. the best way too jump in cold water is jump.

I got full agreement with you!! Without test status our FC infrastructure would never see the light. It takes time and we are imporving anyway may be not as quick as we had expected.

I think Bangladesh has some really talented cricketers, and lets be honest the way England are playing at the moment with lack of thought, desire and a sound plan, who's to say the Tigers wouldn't beat England. They must have a more than good chance I reckon.

Even with this "What if" situation.... there are still too many "But else" to worry about for Bangladesh team. My guess is, in that situation, we can expect a little bit of 'looser friendly result' ... thats it the winner-looser will not switch the role.

Life is too full of what ifs.

You should try not to think about such questions...it will start to drive you crazy...

look at it this way...don't care about anything, but SP Jones is missing and so is Hoggard (did he play the tests against SL?)

SL is a much better team than we were last year (they're only a fair bit better than us now) and they have to face far less superior english bowlers than we did a year ago.

and if all else fails to convince, just remember that anwar hossain was one of our frontline pacers. i doubt he would make the zimbabwe or kenya a team.

if we didnt go to england last year we wouldnt have seen ash 100 and B'Desh beating Aus.

What would have been is not the main thing to discuss guys. What will happen is the main thing. Lets see what happens :)

i believe we could have pushed England the boundary ropes. Most of their players are injured and the ones that are in the team now are inexperienced. They are being smashed around the park by the srilankans.

We can beat any team, any time, anywhere, in any given day with blessed of "if.":)

If "ifs" and "buts" where pots and pan ..... dont remember the rest of the phrase. Something the idiot sidhu uses a lot whenever someone says "what if" and i guess that is absolutely relevant here for this thread. You get the picture i hope !!!

If we don't give away our wickets cheaply, there is every chance to win a game for BD.
