Both rafique and Reza got out because of masuds inability to rotate strike. trust me i am watching the game. Its not Zimbos bowling, it is masuds batting. Whats wrong with Shahadat Hossain's batting? He can't do it at all or what? Now a days even most of the number 11 can bat a bit.......look at Murali or McGrath they managed to develop their batting skill a lot. Even Panesear is practicing hard for improvment in his batting. So Shahadat need to improve and sooner the better.

August 2, 2006, 06:28 AM
It wasnt Reza fault he got run out. He should have been run out 3 other times when Mushud " mix him up'' When Mushud is captain he gets tense and nervous so he cant perform. If he wasnt captain today he woul have sure taken us to 250. Ash, Aftab,Saleh were the best batters today. Razzaq batted well at the end. So my rating of the batting is 5 1/2 /10.
Lets hope Mashrafe and Shahadat let them rip and take 3 or 4 wickets early.

Aftab was fooled by a slower. He did not throw. Similarly Ash was out to a ball that should be hit. But he failed a W/K takes a good catch.
As PoorFan mention, the turning point was Farhad's out. I have not watch the game so I would not comment whose fault it is. But it seems that it was Pilot's fault from the post of other people. More over as there was mix up before that out, as the experienced and captain Pilot should take the lead and should have discussion on calling and one of them should take the calling. It is basic cricket. It is good if both of them can identify run and call, otherwise one should take the charge. It may lose 5 runs but at least avoid run out. To me Pilot is the one to blame.
