Just read the newspaper – Habibul Bashar is leaving the team and heading for Dhaka</ST1:p today…because of so called “Dhaka-based” Cricket Bosses

No if you are thinking of saving money – that’s a great decision. But the question will arise how much extra Zimbabwean Dollar will be out from BCB pocket? At least BCB is not the poorest boards around

Actually I’m strongly against this decision – it’s shocking and might affect our Team. Habibul should stay with the team as a “Non-playing” captain…

Shame on those decision makers – who are either staying in expensive resorts or visiting with the team without knowing captains injury news…but can’t afford few extra dollars to keep the captain with the team

Bashar's suggestion would have helped during matches, net practices and also during the bleak period the team is psychologically down, had he stayed with the team!

it was a right decision to let him go. it would have been much harder for him to just stay with the team

I think it would be nice if he stayed with the team. Its a psychological support for the bd team to have him aside. But now if the news is true then its gonna be another bolt in our coffin.

My opinion is "No Comment". What Bashar did in the last match from the outside? When Rajib was taken off immediately after the Hattric and Mashrafi started to delivery his favorite ball (Full Toss!)---did Bashar do anything? I don't think so. If he did not make any influence on Pilot at the last Match, I think it is unnecessary to stay there and go to the zoo. I am happy that he will be packed.

Bashar wasn't in the field that time. Therefore, how he could help or influence Pilot, I don't know! You can't blame him for that!!?

It's a matter of the players being able to contributre to the matches. Bashar psychologically can help - I'm not quite sure! I recall Bashar was asking for specialist psychologist for the team before as we lacked in confidence. Outside support was sought for psychological support - Bashar was not ideal for that purpose. If we need Tushar as a batsman so Bashar goes back and Tushar comes in. Even if Tushar doesn't come back, some of us might start telling that BCB is wasting money in keepping Bashar there for nothing. So I'd say BCB has done it right.
