Yeah, the term is We never, not You never.

It is not too early. I am planning to open the match thread of first test thread between Kenya and Bangladesh next week. This week I am busy .
There should be some limits of everything.
MODs pls help us from all those compulsive thread openers (could not find better words)

But it's still after end of play. The time difference may be 5 mins, but it doesn't matter.

Aftab Ahmed's habit of sprinting out of the blocks and then running out of steam is becoming terribly predictable and today he sparkled with three boundaries in the space of eight balls before edging to point.

- this is what cricinfo said about Aftab which is pretty honest comment.
come on Aftab, a big one is due from you in this serries. Get it done and show the world that there is no lacking in quality and consistency.

but @ BC it's still terribly un-predictable who gonna manage first to start the match thread among two (or three) fierce competitors

Need two changes in 2nd ODI.
Shahadat instead of Russel and Mushfiq instead Pilot.
Imagine what a team we are if Mushfiq with his great U19 performance can replace Pilot.

When will Driver (O sorry, Pilot) retire?
Between (congrates to him for his 5 dismissals in today's game. Job well done).

Are we going with an unchanged team from yesterday? We might see one change today. Shahadat coming in for Rasel. I like the make up of our new team a lot ( Bashar excluded ). Looks like we have got two very reasonable players in Sakib and Farhad, who already are showing signs that they can play the situational game. Very important factor. Added bonus is that both are bowlers and we have a lot more options now. Good signs..

TheWatcher
August 12, 2006, 08:01 PM
Even though Rasel did not look that great yesterday, I think he deserves, atleast, one more match. Always playing musical chair with the team is not a good thing anyway. So, I say they should keep the same team from yesterday.

How are we going to watch the game which is already played?? or We will have some kind of time machine to go and watch the game already played?

This is a result of opening the thread too early guys. This can be misleading to some people as they might think that the match is going to be played on next saturday and when they will come back next week, they wont be happy .. i guess ..?:p

NB: This is not a criticism but only a reminder for a correction!

how so? I'm hoping against hope that this isnt a broadcast-rights issue that made JumpTV show the crappy DRockstars instead of airing the live channel!

August 13, 2006, 05:56 AM
As I make in my earlier post Mash is not a good bowler with old cherry. So he should open the innings and finish his quota before 30. Same goes for Rasel. Rajib is just the opposite. If u see his wickets, you would find that he gets it in second spell or when he came as first change. so he should bowl the old cherry.
And from the last three match we should understand Farhad can not bowl in power play. Let him bowl in the middle overs. Why they are persisting him in power play.
And regarding captaincy, we we get a pro active captain. opponent are down 6 wickets, there is no slip but long on and long off. Really Pathetic.
