This was our only chance to win this series, and Sujon/Kapali/Bashar/Saleh blew it. Pakistanis were definitely rusty, and they will come back to the game 2nd and 3rd test, and the margin of defeats will be much bigger (unless weather intervenes).

While some may blabber on about how much we've improved, just remember, the record doesn't show improvement. It shows that we've lost 21 of our 22 tests.

When Australia started their cricket academy and redid their whole cricket infrastructure way back in 1984, nothing happened for years. But they stuck with it. And about 20 years later, that system has produced the greatest TEST and One Day team ever. The Australian cricket structure is tight, disciplined and it produces talented and professional cricketers in a steady flow every year. The ones who get a chance to enter the National team are hardened and matured through playing YEARS in the competitive domestic league.

I want that. I don't want a face-saving win and relapse back into our old, lazy habits.

I want steady and sustained development.

So far, Bangladesh seems to be on the right track.

I also want what Arnab wants.

But,

So far, Bangladesh seems to be on the right track.

We will not know that whether we are going on the right track unless and until we can beat Kenya and other ICC associate teams - REGULARLY.

I don't care about Kenya anymore (how long a pool of 30 people can play.... your luck can go with you so long...) . And I also don't think this was last chance to win a test. If we continue this positive graph we are bound for a win, sooner rather later.
