Lions innings (target: 290 runs from 50 overs)
All out for 66 after 23.1 overs

Zimbabwe made 10/152, 7/201 and 4/247.

The Lions team has a few internationals and former internationals, so it would have been no walk in the park to bowl them out..

Actually... I see nothing inspiring for ZIMs in here except for the 4/247. They have won a series against BD very recently and still they fall for 66 or 152. It appears that ZIM's concerns are more like BD... their inconsistant batting. If BD performs like this against SL or WI in coming month... it will be heartbreaking for sure.

The Lions, a South African domestic side (with a fair few current internationals and former internationals) fell for 66.

Zimbabwe's lowest score was 152, which is semi-respectable. The fact that they passed 200 twice (203 and 247) I thought was very good/promising.

By the way, does anyone know why these matches are not List A games?

Hoping B/D wins again against Sri Lanka...the rest of the world have already concluded that West Indies and Sri Lanka are going thru to the next stage..just hoping either B/D or Zim will pull out a shocker and suprise one of these so called big teams.

NOthing is impossible who ever thought that B/D could beat Astralia and Sri Lanka, but they did and if it can be done once it can be repeated...
