Very embarrassing for West Indies. Looking at them today, we must ask ourselves how Bangladesh and Zimbabwe possibly lost to this weak team!!

All matches of the qualifying round except BD- SL match are one sided.

Poor show from WI. After winning toss if we had sent them for batting, history might have been diffenet.

If you take SriLankan bowling attack to be the Scale.. here is the ranking of Qualifying round as per total runs scored against SL bowling attack:
;)
Bangladesh: 265 (9 wickets; 50 overs; 222 mins)
Zimbabwe: 141 (all out; 42.3 overs; 189 mins)
West Indies: 80 (all out; 30.4 overs; 145 mins)

Scorecard doesn't tell the whole story. The SL-BD match was completely dominated by Srilanka. The difference is we saw full 100 overs of play.

At least, most competetive among the lot.

What happened with West Indies today can happen with any team on any particular day. Lara and Co. doesn't perform like this everytime they're out on the field. In case for Bangladesh, its just the antonym. So nothing to blabber or preconceive about this Carribean side. They'll return to their very best soon in the secound round of Champions Trophy.

BD-SL match was least one sided...and the score should count for something

WI got decimated!.. In a way I'm glad bcoz at least we weren't the worst and everyone knows that any team can suffer heavy defeat on a given day. I'm sad though knowing how poorly we performed against WI.

WI proves their impulsiveness ability again. They are the most unpredictable team in the world. Anything can happen if they want.

Anyway after thinking the whole night, I decide that it is not so bad to join in group A. Without England, this group is the same like DLF cup’ grouping. WI just played with Australia, India. On the other hand WI’s performance is always good against England (not so bad).

So still I hope that at least WI will go to the Semi final. IF they can do that I will be very happy.
