Given WI's inconsistancy, I'm scared. But really, WI should win it. Aussies need some good treatment.

Should be a great contest...
Would love to see Aussies winning the only trophy they are missing so far...
but at the same time...
its hard to go past WI when they are at their best...

good luck to both...

That's debatable...but I'm less willing to start a debate here.

From my perspective, both have equal chances. They're both confident, given that one is the defending world champion, while the other is the defending CT champion. Lets see what happens in the field. Until then, kichu bola mushkil. But I think WI has a better chance, given that they play better in indian mati.

I smell a one-sided match, unless WI can avoid the familiar collapse.

Gayle will the man of the series, no doubt about that. I have a good feeling about this and you never know, WI may surprise Australia again. A good start is the key. Australia loves to pick up quick wickets in the beginning and if WI can prevent that, they have a good chance. Its Lara time. He had enough rest, now get back to work.

Completely collapse!

in business of collapsing they are worse than us. How 2/80 in 10.3 overs become 138 all out in 30.1 overs. I simply can not comprehend. It was Lara's team, now become Gayle's team. Simply pathetic

After initial wobble, Aussies are right on track.

Aussies are going to taste their first ever ICCT championship.

Good lead ahead of Ashes.

7.30pm Good News: Rain has stopped. Super sopper and manual labour on in fullswing. Bad News: The outfield looks like a swimming pool. News: We need minimum 10 more overs for a result tonight. At the end of it, say, even if Australia are still X runs short of win, a result will be announced. They won't continue the game tomorrow. But if we can't get in 10 overs, then it will continue tomorrow.

What if it gets washed out tonight Many of you have pinged us with that question. The game will continue tomorrow. Not re-start but continue from where it ended.

WI is going to lose, there's no hope now unless some miracle happens... they always stuggle to post a big total when it really matters.. in a 35 overs match, 200 run is minimum.

I don't think so. Infact, Pakistan have a lot more to thimk for their upcoming series against WI.

Sad; but the prediction was true.
It can not happen that WI does not disappoint you.:(

Just read this on the Daily Star sports page - there was an incident during the trophy presentation that the indian sports journalists are crying about: (ponting says sorry)http://www.thedailystar.net/2006/11/09/d61109041044.htm

I know how idiotic the prize giving ceremonies are in our regions. These folks like to hear themselves and we are forced to hear their boring BS for a lengthy amount of time. All the support for Ponting and his men for taking the trophy that should have been in their hands after a brief 5-10 minute speech. It's about them, not Mr. Pawar.
