Just a quick note here and this will eventually be moved to support. There has been a recent case of an user signing-up with a new nick for the sole purpose of flinging feces and wallowing in it. You might notice the remnants of our clean up. Not only did the second nick get banned, the original user suffered the same fate and that particular IP domain has also been banned.
Juts be civil, please.

Zunaid bhai: Impeccable timing! From now on nobody would dare to abuse the forum again or would have to face the consequences!

I was lucky to be there when this was happening. And this is the net after all. Abusers abound and I am sure we have not seen the last of them.
All we can do is nip things in the bud as much as we can so that the vast majority of our users can enjoy this forum as it is meant to be. Even by AL. JP, Jamaat, BNP et al. supporters. :)

Then everyone including myself would be banned! :)
Please read the forum rules to determine what constitute abuse. As I mentioned, this user signed-in with a new potentially insulting nick and started to post abusive and insulting posts.
I don;t believe anyone is that obtuse.

Im just curious, did you make certain that it wasnt the first members brother or sumthing? Cuz, otherwise, it would kinda be unfair........
Hypothetical instance : Subject A has been a member of the BC forum for ages, tells his brother, brother joins in from same computer (thus same IP add), writes up some drivel, both get blamed for it.
Im pretty certain the subjects in question were the same ppl, but yet, dont you think that Subject A should be given the benefit of the doubt until he himself does something (that is, ofcourse if he hasnt already done it)?

Zunaid bhai all I can see is one new user with 2 posts has been banned. Who is the other unfortunate person you are referring to as the "original" user?

Not much, just an enfant provocateur (http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/enfantprovocateur.htm) making some silly comments referring to chinaman.

Ohh man now I am doubly curious to find out what he wrote. :smug: Damm, of all the time I am here I had to be "not here" when this happened. :(

Hmmm...Rihad_The_Man. With his posts I thought he was a 14 year old guy...but he later mentioned to me that he's 28. Now that I do the math, he probably doubled his age when he msgd me!

There is this dude called I_am_loser or sth. I wonder who the real person is. I sure thats a body double of someone who wants to maintain respect in the forum but had to settle some score.

We have over few thousand members and only couple of hundred active.
I suggest lock/ban those ones who are inactive for a period of 6 months or something..like you know hotmail or yahoo does... locks the a/c after a certain time period.....
more than happy to welcome new members here...and old ones alike..
but no point hoggin the space .....

The original nick was offensive, so it was changed to I_am_a_loser before he was banned. S/he had something against Chinaman, but I didn't know it was Rihaad_the_man?
