Yea, they are doing pretty well despite losing Tevez! As long as they don't become a thorn in United's path, I'll support them coz they are my local and only team in London worth supporting. :-D

The Fulham-Man City game was great for entertainment value. I really enjoyed it.

Most of the Arsenal youngsters seem to be flourishing now that the huge shadow of Henry has gone. They will be a very, very strong team in years to come.

fulham - man city was a really entertaining game with fast one touch football. man city have really turned into a good little side under sven.

the arsenal - derby game was the highlight of the day. a couple of fantastic goals and others that flattered adebayor. i still don't think he is the finished product as yet. however, if he continues to score chances are that he will remain confident about his chances. since henri left arsenal seem to be playing a very slightly different system. there are less balls to chase for the forwards on the break and more being played just at their feet or supporting players behind them.

Clover - Fairweather Fan

I'm a fair weather fan
The sun is shining outside
It makes me happy to see you smiling
And feeling good inside

Well, all the clouds have gone away
They will come again someday
But right now...

Mmm
The sun is shining
The sun is shining

I'm a warm-blooded man
When your light is shining on me (ahh, you know)
You know how to make me happy
You put your arms around me

Ooh, seasons come seasons go
Why they're turning, nobody knows
I know right now, know right now...

I just watched the highlights of the Arsenal vs WHU game, and WHU was clearly denied a goal despite being onside.

Now watching Chelski vs Fulham game. Dogbreath gets his first yellow card for arguing referee for not getting a penalty, which was clearly a dive.

Wigan also denied a goal against Liverpool for supposedly being offside! Boy o boy!

As for United, their defense was terrible in the first half but amazing goalkeeping from both VDS and Kuszczak. Ronaldo scored a great goal and missed another by mere inches.

Arsenal continues to top the premier league table.
Nicklas Bendtner headed the winner seconds after coming on as substitute to keep Arsenal top of the Premier League with a win against Tottenham.

Emmanuel Adebayor put Arsenal ahead after 48 minutes in the north London derby from a Cesc Fabregas back-heel.

Dimitar Berbatov powered home in the 66th minute, then Robbie Keane's penalty was saved by Manuel Almunia after Kolo Toure fouled the Bulgarian.

Substitute Bendtner strode on after 76 minutes and turned in Fabregas' corner.

Everton 1-4 Arsenal

Gunners regained the top place in 3 days :fire::fire::fire:

Eduardo da Silva's first Premier League goals helped Arsenal beat Everton and ensured they leapfrogged Manchester United at the top of the table.

Arsenal had to come from behind after Tim Cahill poked in on 19 minutes but Eduardo levelled after the break and coolly slotted another on 58 minutes.

Nicklas Bendtner was then sent off but Emmanuel Adebayor hit a third after a mix-up in Everton's defence.

Mikel Arteta saw red after an elbow before Tomas Rosicky scored late on.

Arsenal 2-0 West Ham

Arsenal comfortably saw off West Ham to maintain their two-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Eduardo put the Gunners ahead in the second minute, finding space in the box to smash home into the bottom corner.

Anton Ferdinand had a shot cleared off the line as West Ham responded well but Emmanuel Adebayor made it 2-0, slotting home from the narrowest of angles.

The Hammers' attacking threat faded as the game wore on and they ran out of ideas well before the final whistle.

Lucky you.

Glenn was great, as was Gazza later on. I always got a chuckle out of the name "Waddle" once one of locals broke the word down the middle for me. A very naughty boy he was with a strange fondness for jumping over puddles !

Anyway, I remember the locals sucking on Walls strawberry popsicles shaped like a foot on those wonderful North London "summer" days, wearing the Spurs LCS kit in white with light silver stripes, and extremely short navy shorts that came with it.

1435: RED CARD Man Utd
That completes the misery for United as Nemanja Vidic takes out Xabi Alonso without even bothering to look at the ball. Howard Webb takes a while to realise that's his second yellow but eventually the defender sees red.

Whom are you kidding? Manure played worse than Derby (no disrespect to Derby) in second half. Manure were simply lucky that there was no Torres otherwise it would have been 5-1. Kuyt misses 3 chances which any decent player could score. Plus put Keane's two misses.

Just Cant wait anymore for the mother of all games in the PL to start today . Chelsea Vs Man Utd.

Man UTD with their main defender vidic missing will start with Brown (Would be interesting to see how he sees off Drogba) at center back with Ferdinand.I predict them to start with a triple strike force of Bervatob ,Tevez and Ronaldo .This means Wayne Looney misses out on the starting eleven.

Drogba for Chelsea is not fully fit to play 90 minutes .Had Anelka been half of a striker what Drogba is , I see Chelsea netting in a couple against United.Unfortunately he is a lazy scumbag who bags in 90K a week for only a few back heels.

My Chelsea Lineup :

Cech
Bosingwa Carvalho Terry A. Cole
Mikel
Joe.cole Deco Lampard Malouda
Anelka/ Drogba

My Prediction : Chesea 1-1 Man Utd

Just got a feeling SAF will put everyone including Ronaldo behind the ball. They will be more than happy to defend all Day long .Blame Man Utd if the game ends in a draw.

At least he doesnt kick grannies like Rio Ferdinand.

and he got off scot-free because he is England's captain....Terry has gotten away with numerous rugby challenges, handballs because of his position...

And, it wasn’t a rugby challenge. Terry pulled Jo to the floor with a flailing arm, it's a foul and probably a yellow, but in no way shape or form is that, or the first part of the challenge, "serious foul play" so the FA's decision was correct. There was absolutely no intent from JT to injure the opponent. He certainly deserved a yellow.Blame FIFA’s strange rules of not allowing degrading a red to yellow .That ref Hasley’s poor decision worked in Chelsea’s favour in the end.

Howard Webb just handed the Premier League to United .This is the First time I had seen ONE penatly giving FIVE goals. The first half was all Spurs and thanks to some poor defending from United. How both vidic and Ferdinand are nominated for the PFA player award and Lampard left out is still beyond me.

Having seen the replay many times I can't see how anyone can dispute that penalty. Carrick clearly steered the ball away BEFORE Gomez got there. Gomez touched Carrick first. Don't believe it? Watch this carefully- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JORPeAJJHdw

May be United was fortunate with the penalty. That does not justify a premier league side to "give up" when they still have a lead, which is the real disgusting thing here.

4 shots of goal in 90 mins against United's 12 says it all. United were always likely to score and they scored not one, not two, but FOUR goals. No amount of injustice done by a penalty can erase this fact. The ref may have made a poor decision but nobody talks about the blatant penalty denied by Mike Riley in the FA cup semi-final.

As for PFA nominations, I'm pretty sure those were done around February when United were top form, including players like Vidic, who fully deserves to be in the list for his role in United's record defensive run. I'd personally like Ryan Giggs to win it who has been brilliant in the few games that he's played this season. It boggles my mind how he hasn't won this award once in his glorious 18 year career.

However, it is very much likely it's Stevie-ME who will benefit the most due to split votes between Vidic and Giggs.

Good to see you back and I am not surprised at the timing of your comeback. Anyways Congrats in advance for winning a much deserved premier league and hope you knock out Gooners and we barca’s for a rematch in Rome . JT aint gonna take the penalty this time;).

Gomez touches the balls and its changes its trajectory by close to around 90 degrees with no contact from Carrick. You might have your arguments, but even those pundits on Match of the day, especially Alan Hansen (I know he played for pool) agreed Spurs controlled the game until that Penalty.

He is lucky PFA nominations were decided well before that Liverpool game where Torres tore him apart .

Giggs is a great player but to say he deserves that award over lampard, vidic or gerrard award by starting only 9 games this season (YES , 9) is a crime. Giggs is nominated up there SOLELY cos they felt Giggs was undervalued all these years and the result is a sympathy-award for him before he finally hangs his boots.

Rooney , Ronaldo , vidic and ferdinand had a far better season than him .

I'd personally like Ryan Giggs to win it who has been brilliant in the few games that he's played this season.

Yea thanks, it's not like I wasn't here the entire time for the past two seasons also, right? Well anyway, the season is played over 38 games, so it's not over yet. And I don't want CL to go to penalties. Penalties are a lottery and would be way too nerve-wrecking for me to handle for a second year.

You might have your arguments, but even those pundits on Match of the day, especially Alan Hansen (I know he played for pool) agreed Spurs controlled the game until that Penalty. It's easy for us to debate decisions since we have the hindsight of action replay and the ref don't. So may be it's about time they bring in video technology in the game. In the end, United took advantage and without this predatory mentality, and a bit of fortune you can't win the premier league let alone stay in it.

He is lucky PFA nominations were decided well before that Liverpool game where Torres tore him apart .
You say that as if United players are given some kind of timeline to play their best while other players are barred from doing so. There was nothing stopping Torres or anyone else from tearing teams apart in the months before February. So it works both ways doesn't it? PFA nominations are done the same time every year, the best players up to then get the nominations. That said, I think it's strange why can't they do the nominations after the season ends. Surely all the players can't be that busy.

It is a crime that he hadn't won the PFA a long time ago! Giggs has more pride and more trophies than any player in the country to accept some sympathy award. This is about acceptance of respect from every corner of professional football for the most decorated player in the English football history and a model professional who clearly deserves it.
