www.cricinfo.com/3d

basically its gonna use CGI to get a play by play re-enactment shortly after the real stuff happens. its still in its testing stages now. but you can check it out for the ongoing SA-PAK test match.

i hope it will be in action from WC

That's neat...but you know, nothing can even closely match the real matches :)

May be it is new in Cricinfo but I think Tigercricket and some other sites did it before. Moreover this 3d animation is nowhere to the real actions.

yeah, this might have been done before. i remember watching an animtaed version of a bd match, live. sucked. but this could be better, if it's an actual and precise re-enactment.

Hasan bhai: You are right. Tigercricket did it during Zimbabwe series. Nothing new as you said!:-D

I think cricinfo will do better job this time. So far I have tried so many sites for live commentry but I think I like simple interface of cricbuzz and it refresh commentry. they use ajax so page does not load.

Most probably this will never cover BD matches,as experience with CI suggests.
