Can anyone please tell me what is this bloody xerox? It has one folder inside it naming "nwwia." It's in my laptop's "Program Files" folder. I've tried to remove it but I failed saying "cannot delete nwwia: It is being used by another person or program." Actually it's properties showing 0 KB.
Even I've tried in DOS mode but can't delete it.

<a href="http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/r1014078754">Here's the solution, and it sucks!</a>
However,
Do a find on 'sfcfiles'. You need to do the advanced search option, and check 'Search system folders', 'Search hidden files', and 'Search sub folders'.
Results will be sfcfiles.dll, in one or more places. Change all their names (highlight
the file and hit F2) to sfcfilesold.dll.
XP may tell you that you are being very very BAD, so tell XP to go piss up a rope...lol........
Restart, and voila, you can delete nwwia, xerox etc.
That folder is installed in a clean install of XP and is used by the Windows Image Acquisition service. You need that service and that folder if you have a camera or a scanner. "nwwia" stands for "network windows image acquisition".
and finally,
to put all this posts in other words: MICROSOFT SUCKS!!!

i wonder if you could find the process that's running it and stop it from task manager? don't think that'll work, but dot dot dot
