I was just wondering if any of you know the youngest player with an international cap ever, and in the last five years. I was looking through some players and they are extremely young.

Also the youngest player in domestic cricket. Just wondering If I could break the record:D.

Thanks in advance.

You don't stand a chance of getting anywhere near the first class record. According to Cricketarchive and Cricinfo, a chap named Ahmed Mustafa ( http://cricketarchive.co.uk/Archive/Players/49/49622/49622.html ) was born on 7th March 1944 and played his first first class match on 22nd February 1955, ie, at the age of 10 years and 352 days. Beat that :-D

I was thinking exactly the same thing. You could probably easily add three years to the reported age and get the actual age. I used to joke about this practice but now I find it irritating.

15 years and 231 days, and he scored his first 100 on the next day.

I'm not argue about Iqbal. That guy has jayasuriya like potential and right now he's performing better or the same as him.

Ashraful? You're kidding right? Tikolo is better than that kid.

do u knw anything about cricket! ur sayin the youngest centurion on DEBUT is not talented and did u even watch his innings against India and Australia. yes he has been consistent, but like the Bangladeshi team he has developed and he will become a great like Tendulkar along wiv Iqbal

I didn't say he wasn't talented. He'll never ever be GREAT though. There's a difference. Chanderpaul is talented. He's not a great. Getting a century on debut doesn't mean much. Omar served us very well, consistently. Now from what I've observed, like three in four members of BC want to see the back of him. Having potential to murder any bowling line up and only doing it only four times out of 150 innings isnt GREAT.

Know a thing about cricket?

Yes, they lie. To me youngest was tendulkar, he looked like 13 that time, haha. i know he was 16 years. and i don't think he lied, since it started lately. not in 80s
