Cricinfo Hasn't Updated it yet But it will look like this and I think no body realized Hablu reached these milestones.

<table class="engineTable"><caption>Batting and fielding averages</caption> <thead> <tr class="head"> <th>

Congrats Bashar. As I told you, I still believe he is the classiest batsman of BD. SR and Avg don't tell you much about his potential. Doing the work of a captain is a heavy duty job on its own.

Hats off to Bashar, I always believed he was our best batsman in both form of cricket.

Congrats to Bashar...
but this thread should have been opened ( 2000 runs) much much earlier i hoped...
batsmen of his calibre should not have an average of 22. It should be alteast around 35+, like in test matches... which would have made his total odi runs around 3500 by now.

well..what the hec...congrats to him...

Bashar passed the milestone so quietly !!

Typical Bashar character. :) Many congratulations to Bashar.

He is the best Captain Bangladesh ever had and definitely the best batsman in test cricket if not in both forms of the game. He scored about one third of all the runs Bangladesh scored in test cricket.
I wish, he Captains Bangladesh for 100 ODI (that's 42 more ODI :) ). have a look at his Captaincy record. Amazing !!!

Congrats for the 1st BD to cross 2k runs. Congrats for the yesterday's vital knock. Congrats for the yesterday's win. All we need is a victory against Ind at the WC. If they whitewash us badly at home I wouldn't mind then.

does any one know his stats since 2001. I bet his avereage and strike rate is higher then the total.

Miraz: It's not misleading because of that :)

It's misleading, because, reasonably, you should be able to produce such data on the next 10 Bangladesh skippers that would get the same amount of time at the helm. I explained this before to you.

Cheers, man.

Is it a milestone? Or Shamestone?!! For due reason He quietly passed this shamestone!! :) I dont believe after playing 100 ODI, a batsman should celebrate such kind of thing. He knows it and so did not want to talk about it unlike some of the fans!:p

Anyway, congrats for his achievement. I still believe he has the ability to serve the team as a batsman. And now-a-days he is turning himself into an enthusiastic fielder. But as a captain he simply sucks!

And you know what, playing against Zimbos in regular basis did one thing common to all the BD players: it improved their stats!
