There can only be one. Choose from the poll above:
If your choose 'other' then name names. (I could only get 14 so I would miss some of the big names.)

Minnow players like Nafees, Sakib, Tikolo, Davison are excluded because of the possibility of not qualifying.

Lara, Tendu, Hayden the big guns may not be able to compete with Gayle, Yousuf, Ponting, Flemming, Smith etc.

Then there is Dhoni, Gilchrist, Jayasuriya, Afridi, McCullam.

The workhorse Hussey, Sangakkara, Jayawardene, Strass, McMillan, Younis, Gibbs can really shine on this placid wickets.

Who knows this may be the year for an unknown just take the cake with the pastries like Cook, Clark, Tharanga.

What are your thoughts? Who is the most likely winners?

This is a very bad pole (বাঁশ) as many possible players are not there. I personally think dada has got a good shot for that. His only problem is he plays only 3 matches because India will be beaten by BD and BD & SL will move on to round # 2 :saint::-D

Good poll, but you might want to edit out some of the players from that list, the Indians and Pakis.

I think Smith, the SA captain will be the leading run scorer of the tournament. He looks to be in great form, and as an opening batsmen, he'll get lots of opportunities to make run early in the powerplay and in bunches. SA have a good batting lineup that will support him well also.

Tiger eye, I suggest you edit the poll and add Nafees, Sakib, Aftab and Ashraful!:flag:

Pointing (athar ali) gets my nod.

How about a poll for the bowlers?
Mashrafi all the way!

I think it will be Graeme Smith, he seems to be in good touch.
