Which have been the top innings of modern times? Here are the ten innings that rated highest according to PwC. What links them is that they were almost always made in games where other players struggled to score runs, and helped the team to victory. Three Lara innings feature, plus Laxman's great double century that turned a series. The most recent entry is Inzamam's 329 against New Zealand. Six of the performances were made against Australia, but none were BY Australians (a sign of their teamwork rather than dependence on individuals, perhaps?):
