Did anyone notice?

One of the Bermuda’s players, Kane named his boy “India” and declared that he would not take the catch of Sachin if he got. How funny? Ha hA

So, what will Srilanka do today with them? I think Srilanka will make another new record in total runs if they bat first.

He may said it shaw how he respects Sachin.

But when you are on graound, you would never miss a catch intensly even if the batsman is your god.

I don't think so.

8.4 Mukuddem to Jayawardene, no run, fuller length delivery outside the off stump, Jayawardene stays rooted at the crease and goes for the drive, outside edge and Leverock puts it down at 1st slip, Jayawardene is DROPPED first ball

This huge guy dropped the ball???

Those who are watching please check how the pitch is behaving early in the innings. Is there any swing? I think sun is shinning bright and early, correct? We will be playing in the same pitch so this is very important for the BC fantacy game.

Pitch is good with little bit of extra bounce on occasion. The commentators were discussing about the pitch and think it wouldn't turn that much.

The pitch looked dumped in the morning and Mukuddem found good seam movement on ocassions, other Bermudian bowlers looked incapable of taking advantage of the condition.

I am more than convinced now that we should go with Mash-Rasel in our first match. The pitch is slow and low, Indians won't have any problem whipping away Shahadat's short deliveries here. Mash-Rasel will do lot better to take advantage of the morning condition if we get to field first.

Yeah, both of their opening bowlers, Trent Johnston and Dave Langford-Smith are from New South Wales, Australia. Johston played for NSW FC team while Langford-Smith has experience playing for their age groups. Ireland also has a good allrounder in Andre Botha who is from SA and has experience playing for Griqualand West. Their highest scorere today, Jeremy Bray, is also an FC cricketer from NSW, Australia.

This is another thing BD should think about. If there is a likelihood of the match being disrupted due to rain, Bangladesh could bat first and try to make a big score. India will suddenly find themselves in trouble if they are chasing and the rain disrupts their chase...putting them under pressure with a higher required RR. I wish all my wishes came true in the same way as I described

Well, now that the SL-Barmuda game is over (Bermuda all out 78), I think it's time we look at things that are important to us:

1. The fact that Maharoof got 4 wkts is actually encouraging. That tells me that slower pace bowling at the right line and length works on that pitch.
2. More encouraging is the fact that Murali took some beating. He was the most expensive lankan bowler.
3. Bermuda opening bowling, apart from the fact that they had some nerve issues, was also positive. They did not give out too many runs, got Jayasuria out and also dropped Jayabardwane at 0. This brings up the last point on my list:
4. Fielding....fielding.....fielding......we need to convert half-chances into something positive for us.....

I think the worst thing Bermuda have done for Bangladesh is allowing Jayawardene to get back to form. He scored 85 and his previous highest in 11 innings was just 45. He was first dropped at 0, then at 51 by non other than the great Leverock who enjoyed the moment when he took his first World Cup wicket with a combination of a slow march and hip-gyrating jive!!!! :head:
